Los Cristianos

The town is 10-15 minutes walk away, or 3 - 4 euros by taxi. There you will find the superb beaches, and the harbour with its busy comings and goings.

There is a working fishing fleet, ferries to other Canary Islands and numerous boat trips on offer - to see the whales, or just cruises along the picturesque coast.
The unspoilt and picturesque Island of Gomera is just 75 mins away by ferry and well worth a visit. There is a sailing school, Diving school for the ambitious and also several Golf courses in the area.

The town, with many pedestrianised streets, has all the usual tourist shops but also an excellent variety of shops that have not lost their local Spanish flavour.

With a choice of over 130 local and international restaurants, you will have no trouble finding somewhere to eat and live music can be found in many of the bars. For the discos and nightclubs, Los Americas is about 7 mins away by taxi.

Tenerife

The climate is perfect with year-round average temperatures of 75 degrees Fahrenheit, the south of Tenerife is your closest sanctuary to escape the chilly British winters and unreliable summers.

There are some places which are a must to visit – either on one of the many available excursions or by bus. Car Hire is readily available too.

The most prominent attraction is Mount Teide, Spain’s highest Peak, and most popular is the Loro Park in the North.

The central bus station has buses routed to Santa Cruz ( 45 minutes on the non-stop), Puerto Cruz (60 mins) ,Los Gigantes ( 50 mins) and to all the neighbouring smaller resorts – Las Galletas, El Medano ( well worth a visit).

Royal Palm and your holiday is only 4 hours flying time from the UK and 15 minutes drive from the southern airport.

Flights are available from most UK local airports and there are now 44 scheduled flights a week from UK including some of the ‘budget’ airlines.
